INTRODUCTIONTVADA was formed in 1989 to unite the antique dealers of the Thames Valley. This was to help support and promote members and provide a more complete service for their customers. By pooling our combined knowledge, expertise and resources we provide an unparalleled level of service to our members and customers. The Swap Shop is a TVADA invention enabling dealers to exchange pieces amongst themselves so creating a constantly fresh look to their stock without the need for capital outlay. Where you see the TVADA logo displayed, expect quality, knowledge and service. Fairs: TVADA are well known for organising good quality antiques fairs and generally run two nationally renowned fairs each year. Members are given preferential treatment and have first choice of stands at a special members rate. Website:The new website was launched in March 2009 and all members have a free entry on the site giving full contact details and information.. Members can be found geographically, alphabetically or by stock speciality. The aim of the new site is to create a stronger selling tool for our members. It was developed by Online Galleries and for those members with an existing on line gallery, it will be automatically linked with the tvada site. All members have access to the site to update their details and add an unlimited amount of images to promote and sell their stock. Directory of Members: A directory of members is printed with alphabetical details of all the members with an image, brief description of the business and contact details These are distributed nationally through the website, by members and at various antiques fair Associate membership: offering specialist services and advice. HOW TO JOINContact the office by post, phone or email and you will be sent an application form which once completed will be put before the committee. On approval you will be sent an invoice which can be paid by cheque, bank transfer or direct debit over 12 months. |
