Very elegant and well made late 18th Century mahogany Stick Barometer; the large broken arch pediment, supported on side brackets, over finely engraved register plate with manual vernier adjustment; the trunk, veneered in Cuban mahogany, edge-moulded and with ‘rope-effect’ stringing, with exposed barometer tube terminating within turned cistern cover.
