A super quality late 19th century set of 6 side chairs plus 2 carver chairs in mahogany. These chairs in the style of Chippendale have claw and ball front legs with acanthus leaves carved to the knees. The backs of the chairs are beautifully fretted out with a fine bead carved around the edge. The drop-in seats are upholstered in a diamond pattern faux suede.
