Elegant and very fine quality 18th Century mahogany Stick Barometer, the arched top with well engraved silvered brass register plates, signed by the maker; bearing manually operated vernier slide, and protected by unusual lockable glazed brass door and supported on open fretwork side brackets. The trunk of finely patinated Cuban mahogany, with concealed barometer tube terminating within hemispherical cistern cover.
