An early 19th century Baltic Empire period gueridon table. The circular top supported by a frieze inlaid with two bands of brass ebony inlaid S scrolled decoration and standing on three swept legs headed by carved bird decoration and the long curved neck terminating from stiff leaf carved form sweeping down to three toed feet on ball legs and the whole joined by triform stretcher with brass inlaid ebony decoration. The legs in faux bronze and gilt both restored. c1810
