A pair of late 19th century French decorated fauteuils. The chairs retain their original needle work and painted decoration in a light greyish colour. The tapered back supported by outscrolling arms with painted decoration and tapestry covered armrests joined with a carved bow fronted front rail standing on four turned, tapered fluted legs headed by carved paterae.
