William H Walker was one of a family of talented watercolourists and illustrators who also ran Walker's Galleries in London, a busy contemporary art gallery. He illustrated Alice's Adventures in Wonderland for Messrs Lane in 1908 and between 1906 and 1926 held a number of one-man exhibitions at Walker's Galleries.
