Description / Expertise

Painter, etcher and teacher, son of the sculptor Albert Morris. He was born in Chester where he studied at the school of art before going on to the Slade and later the Central School of Arts and Crafts. He moved to Derby where he taucht art from 1920-1957. She exhibited at the Royal Academy, New English Art Club, Royal Society of British Artists and had a number of one man shows at Derby Art Gallery which now holds his painting "A Suffold Water Mill". He is also represented in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, British Museum and in several provincial galleries.
